Important News: Your Help is Needed!

Dear Members,

As you know, the Senate passed Chapter 78 relief a month ago. It is being held up in the Assembly by Speaker Caughlin who wants to see the following changes made before he brings it up for a vote:  1. Decrease in medical benefits to members; 2.  Increase in the amount members pay into 78; and 3. Decrease in Medicare benefits to our retirees.

Please call your Assembly member and tell him/her to pass Chapter 78. Please click below for the list of legislators.

We regret to inform you that due to the continuing uncertainty of the COVID-19 State of Emergency, enacted by Governor Murphy, we have cancelled the 2019-2020 CCCEA Annual Retirement Dinner, scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2020.

 

We have tentatively confirmed the date of Thursday, May 27, 2021 with The Palace, Blackwood, NJ for the 2020-2021 CCCEA Annual Retirement Dinner. Any member who has or will retire during the 2019-2020 school year is eligible to attend the 2020-2021 event, in addition to the members retiring during the 2020-2021 school year.

We sincerely apologize to our retirees as we know you were looking forward to celebrating with your families, friends, and colleagues.
